A private 5-day Marrakech–Merzouga tour designed for those who want to see the essentials of southern Morocco without stress: Atlas Mountains, kasbahs, valleys, gorges and finally the Sahara dunes.

You travel with a dedicated driver-guide and an air-conditioned vehicle suitable for your group.

Each day is organized to remain comfortable (breaks, viewpoints, stages), while maintaining a true immersion: sunset in the dunes, night in camp, and possible cultural encounters depending on the timing.

Schedule

1. Departure: pick-up from your hotel/riad in Marrakech (morning, time confirmed the day before).
2. Route: crossing the High Atlas via the Tizi n'Tichka → Aït Ben Haddou → Ouarzazate → Dadès → Todra → Merzouga → Drâa Valley → Ouarzazate → return to Marrakech.
3. Photo stops: yes — panoramic stops integrated and managed by the team according to the schedule
4. Return: arrival in Marrakech in the late afternoon (day 5).

Day-by-day itinerary (5 days)

Day 1 — Marrakech → Atlas Mountains → Aït Ben Haddou → Dadès Valley

Early departure. Crossing the Atlas Mountains, stop at Aït Ben Haddou, then drive towards Ouarzazate, Skoura and the Valley of Roses according to the rhythm of the day.

Overnight stay in a riad/kasbah (dinner included).

Day 2 — Dades Valley → Todra Gorge → Merzouga (Erg Chebbi)

Route towards the Todra Gorges, then continuation towards Merzouga.

Camel ride at sunset to the camp (standard or luxury depending on the package).

Dinner and overnight stay in the desert.

Day 3 — Desert Immersion: Nomads, Mines, Khamlia

Desert discovery day: visit to the M'Fis mines, possible meeting with nomadic families, and stop in Khamlia (gnawa music).

Overnight stay in a charming hostel/accommodation (often with a swimming pool).

Day 4 — Merzouga → Drâa Valley → Ouarzazate (or Fint Oasis)

Departure after breakfast. Great scenic route via the Drâa Valley (palm groves, ksour, earthen villages).

Dinner and overnight stay in Ouarzazate or near the Fint Oasis depending on availability.

Day 5 — Ouarzazate → Atlas Studios (if desired) → Return to Marrakech

Depending on timing, a visit to Atlas Studios is possible, then return to Marrakech.

Booking and cancellation conditions

Reservation and deposit

To confirm your Marrakech Merzouga 5-day tour , a deposit of 30% of the total cost of the stay is required.

The balance is to be paid in cash upon your arrival in Marrakech , before the start of the tour.

Booking at least 30 days before the recommended departure date , in order to allow for the complete organization of the program (accommodations, logistics, driver, etc.).

Cancellation conditions

In case of cancellation on your part, the following fees will apply:

Departure time and applicable cancellation fees

• From 30 to 15 days before departure: 30% of the total cost of the stay + €50 processing fee
• From 14 to 7 days before departure: 50% of the total cost of the stay + €50 processing fee
• From 6 to 3 days before departure: 75% of the total cost of the stay + €50 booking and processing fee
• Less than 72 hours before departure: 100% of the total cost of the stay

These conditions take into account accommodation, transport and organization costs already incurred.

Travel and cancellation insurance

It is strongly recommended to take out travel and cancellation insurance covering illness, unforeseen events or transport delays.

This insurance remains the responsibility of the traveler and is not included in the tour price.
